  TICKET INFORMATION

NIFF 2006 will be held from Wednesday, November 8th through Sunday November 12th.

Advanced General Admission, Opening Night Party, & Opening Night Screening Tickets will be available for purchase at two downtown Northampton locations starting on Nov. 1, 2006:

The Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce located at 99 Pleasant Street (413-584-1900) will sell tickets from Wednesday November 1, 2006 until Wednesday November 8, 2005. The Chamber is open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. All tickets must be purchased with cash.

The Academy of Music Box Office located at 274 Main Street (413-584-9032) will sell tickets starting Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006 until Wednesday. Nov. 8, 2006 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. EXCEPT ON SUNDAY Nov. 5th. All tickets must be purchased with cash.

All NIFF Tickets and Passes will be sold at the Academy of Music Box Office and all NIFF screening venues during the festival and before each screening. Festival Passes will be available for advanced purchase starting Wednesday October 25, 2006 at www.ticketweb.com.

WGBY Members get $2.00 off all tickets except the Children's Program

Important: ALL seating is on a first come available basis. There is no reserved seating and those with Festival Passes will be admitted to screenings first.

Only Festival Passes are available online via Ticketweb at www.ticketweb.com starting Wed. October 25, 2006. $125.00
All Festival Pass (Allows Entry to all Screenings and General Public Events)
WGBY Public Television Members get $15 off the All Festival Pass and $2.00 off General Admission and Opening Night Tickets.
Festival Passes must be picked up in person with WGBY Membership card and ID.
All TicketWeb Passes will be held at the Academy of Music. Call 413-582-1832 for more details.

NIFF CENTRAL
The central meeting place for information during the festival is the NIFF Office located at 60 Masonic Street (in the Media Education Building behind the Woodstar Cafe). Masonic Street is almost directly across Main Street from the Academy of Music. If you are Filmmaker, Panelist, or special guest of the festival this is where you check in on arrival.


GETTING TO NIFF

SHUTTLE SERVICE
If you plan to fly into the Bradley airport and advance reservations can be made by calling:

They are open 24 hours, 7 days week, and have door to door service that is reasonably priced.

BUS SERVICE
Peter Pan Bus Lines 800-343-9999.
Cost from NYC is about $29.
Travel time 3 ¾ hours.

TRAIN SERVICE to Springfield, Massachusetts
Connecticut Amtrak 800-872-7245. http://www.amtrak.com
Once in Springfield you can walk two blocks to connect with a bus at the Peter Pan Bus Station.

From points SOUTH (CT / NYC):
Take Interstate I-91 North to Northampton, MA. Take exit 19. Take a left at the end of the ramp which is Rt. 9. This will bring you to the center of town (Sweeties, Florence Savings Bank, Silverscape). TaKe a left onto Pleasant St. and take your first right to the parking garage.

From points EAST or WEST (Boston, Albany):

ake the MA Turnpike (I-90) to Interstate I-91. Take I-91North to Northampton, MA. Take exit 19. Take a left at the end of the ramp which is Rt. 9. From points NORTH or NORTHEAST (Vermont, Greenfield, MA):
Take Rt. 91 South to exit 20, Follow King Street to the center of town (Sweeties, Florence Savings Bank, Silverscape). Go through the lights onto Pleasant St. Take your next right and park in the parking garage.
